Shead Programming

Shead Programming has been dormant since December 2005, owing to increasing debt, and no reasonable hope or evidence of improvement in outlook. I chose to cut my losses and get out. What follows is (partially) the state that the web site might have been in in 2006, had I continued at that time and updated it. Shead Programming may not be forever defunct, but it is for now. It is not that I don't love programming, but I have no love for what the business of selling it does to the thing itself.

Products and Services

Member of ACMShead Programming is a consulting service run by Joseph Shead. I offer programming services on any programming platform I have access to. Most of my experience is with Microsoft® Windows® platforms, and I favor Borland® C++Builder™ for that purpose. However, I do have experience with Visual C++, linux, Visual Basic, etc., as outlined below.

I also have experience with transactions between credit card terminals (usually Verifone) and a host running on a PC, written in C++. The host usually uses ODBC to interact with a database. I have done this work as a sub-contractor for Prairie Trail Software. I have also written a library in C (with a little help) for an Omni 3200, and one application that uses it.
